I have a prop I believe came off a 40 or 50 hp Merc. I dont have the motor anymore but I found this prop in my garage. The number on the hub is 48-73144-17. I think that makes it a 17 pitch prop and the hub has 13 splines. The prop does not look like it was run very much if any at all. It is in good shape with no dings or corrosion. The other runs Ford Saber diesels power package. They are both twin jets, run and are functional. The hulls are aluminum, and we have made custom aluminum cabins for each tug. 18FT Air Cataraft W/Trailer. As you can see in the pictures there has been alought of work done to the frame to make it handle up to a 50 hp outboard. It has a 1/2\" Fiberglass floor and front deck, it has an 1/8\" white plastic scatter shield under the frame to stop water from spalshing up above the floor and more scatter shield around the motor to keep water under the boat and everything is held together with stainless steel bolts. It also has a heavy duty transum with an expensive motor adjuster to be able to move the motor higher or lower depending on its size. Even though it has all of the extras it is not heavy. It comes with 4 swivel seats, and two 9\"owrs. I used it to dipnet at the Kenai with 4 people on it and a 50hp yamaha and all the gear and it had no problems. The tubes will cary over two thousand pounds of people and gear. To get this built by the cataraft store it would cost alought more than I am asking. I have a 1994 Evinrude with break in hours only on the powerhead rebuild. This rebuild was done by Premier Marine in Florida and at the time I had the DuraJet option lower unit installed. I had it set up for remote control but paid the extra $700.00 for the tiller kit which I have installed. It does have elect start and power tilt/trim. I bought this motor and had it shipped to AK in June 2007 and I have not used it at all. I owned a set net operation on south K Beach and intended on using it in the mud flats down there. I have since started set netting off the beach in Nikiski and no longer have a use for a motor such as this. I will be in Kenai on July 1st and could show the engine after that time.
