I bought 150 pounds of Caribbean blue rubber mulch for my front walkway as seen in the photo. It is beautiful and soft on the feet. I decided to get pavers installed instead so I gathered up the mulch and it is sitting in a large bucket in my garage. I used some for a flower bed so there is about 100 pounds left. There is some dirt and leaves mixed it but it is easy to clean and if you use it in a flower bed, it wont matter. The mulch is made from recycled tires and rubber mulch works the same as organic mulch but it is much better. It does not blow or wash away and does not attract insects. Also, it does not have to be replaced every spring. You can purchase red or brown mulch at Home Depot or Lowes but you will not be able to find this beautiful blue color. It looks great in flower beds. I am also seling the gray rubber stepping stones which are made by perma mulch. Please see that ad. I have 10 stones that I am selling for $4.00 each. They are gray rubber made by Perma mulch and look like concrete aggregate stepping stones but are much lighter and easier to use. They last forever and show no wear. Last year Lowes and Home Depot carried them in the garden section but you cant get them this year. According to our local 4H rep, Dixie is a prospect that has great potential. Her mother (Classy Dancer) is a registered POA and currently shows. We have had Dixie since August, 08. She has a lot of personality. She is GREEN but will accept halter and walks well on lead. I have had my 5 yo daughter on her back and walked her around the yard without her bucking or anything. Dixie stands well for vet and farrier. She has never had shoes and does just fine; farrier says she has good feet. She is a cheap keep; she does fine on grass, however since I have a small property, I spend approximately $50 a month to feed her (grass hay, pellets and corn). She spent the winter outside with a lean-to and no blanket; she has a great winter coat. Dixie is up-to-date on Coggins and vaccinations. Dixie is ornery but sweet. She gets along well with other animals. Currently she rooms with mini mule and large sheep (both males). I dont know how to train a horse, so if you do, shell make you happy, Im sure. Price is negotiable for right family. For sale is a Ferguson TE 20 Tractor with 3 point hitch . I am quite sure it is a 1949 model. This tractor runs well and has just been tuned up with plugs, wires, distributor cap and new carburetor. Also has new tires on rear. This tractor is one of the more collectible Ferguson models as it was made in England and shipped to the United States for use .A great restoration project or can be used on the farm now. $ 4500.00. I bought two of them. After looking at them, you can use anything to make one. My cousin used a hanging planter and cut a hole in the bottom. I actually bought mine from abcdistributing.com but target sells them too. I am making them out of laundry soap tubs now. Not pretty but do the job and you can paint them.
