Tonight my mother made an unpleasant discovery while cooking dinner: a dead mouse in the bottom of her bottle of cooking oil! After hearing her girly shrieks I came down to investigate, only to find that the \"dead\" mouse was indeed still alive, but barely. Being an animal lover, I just could not bring myself to dump the poor little thing outside to freeze to death, as requested. As it just so happens, I currently have another unwanted mouse (my snake did not eat her), so I had a place to put the bedraggled survivor mouse. She seems to be a baby--not entirely full grown but just about there, and shes jet black.I have no idea how long she was stuck in that bottle (she was clever enough to actually take the cap off of it before getting trapped), and when I was able to free her she seemed very shell shocked, which I guess is to be expected after an ordeal like that :-(. As Im writing this she seems to be coming out of her daze a bit. She had a little bit of water, but is not interested in food--probably because she has a belly full of oil. The resident (domestic) mouse has not realized that she has a tankmate yet, and Im hoping that the introduction goes smoothly. After all that the little wild one has been through, it would be so unfair to have her killed by another mouse. Ive actually had experience with mice as pets and breeders, but this is indeed a first for me. We also have two resident indoor cats, so were not sure how this mouse escaped detection, although Im pretty sure my big boned Ragdoll wouldnt know how to catch a mouse even if he saw one! Lol.Anyway, I wanted to share this little story because it was so random and unexpected. I dont know if the little thing will survive her ordeal, but Im hoping she pulls through. Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated, but please no remarks like \"you should have just killed it--its just a mouse.\" If I felt that way I would have done it. If all goes well, this little girl and her tankmate will be needing a new home. If anyone is interested in adopting two survivors, please let me know! Ive named the baby mouse Olive....seemed appropriate given the circumstances :-). Thanks for reading, and I look forward to seeing your remarks--the good, the bad, and the ugly! This being craigslist, Im bracing myself for the last two, hehe. Regards on this frigid night. its NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interestsPostingID: 998159958 |

I am looking for a puppy, that is not full grown. I have seen people post \"puppy\" when the dog is over one year. I am wanting a puppy, that is only a few months old. I am not trying to be picky, but it isnt fully intentional. I have reasons, and if you would like to know them, feel free to email me.A larger breed is preferred. I have been thinking of a lab, or beagle, though those are not that large. The puppy would need to get long with smaller dogs, like 10-20 pound dog. Nothing else is absolutely necessary. I have two small dogs, about the size listed above, and I am wanting a puppy. I am 16, and I live with my parents and sister. If you have a puppy, for free, or with a small rehoming fee, I would love to know.I check my email very often, and I would love to hear from you if you think you have a puppy that would be good for me.Thanks! Green Acres Animal Sanctuary - Rainsville, Alabama Please take the time to read Carols story and look through to see if there are any dogs you can take into your home or program to find them new homes. This is not an easy task, as you will note, most of the dogs are large and many are black. We need all the eyes and ears we can get to save these babies Time is VERY limited. This is what is left of Carols house after a fire destroyed it last November, claiming the lives of over 65 cats and 18 disabled dogs. You can see the large burned tree where the fire started outside her home. This was Carols family home. She did not have insurance because the home was very old and the cost was too great. Carol now lives in a garage that was detached from her burned home. It is a small concrete block building. Thanks to generous donations, Carol now has a wood burning stove, and a hot water heater. Her electricity is run from the street by an extention cord and we are working on finding the $800 to get the power run legally underground to her garage. She is slowly trying to create a normal living space for herself and her remaining pets. Her worries are not for herself though. She says she needs nothing but to get these dogs to a safe haven. She is an amazing 65 year old woman who has built this sanctuary with her own hands. Large shed-like wooden dog houses and huge yards contain these dogs. It was all built by Carol. Now she just fears for the safety of the dogs she loves so much. Rainsville, Alabama - For over 10 years, Rainsville citizens and city officials and workers have called upon Carol to take care of all the stray animals in the area. This is not a poor town but they do not spend money on things like an animal shelter. They just call on Carol and she steps up to the plate. After her house fire, attention was drawn to Carol and her large number of dogs. Suddenly the city officials played ignorant and many people against her. The whole town that has brought her dogs over the years have turned against her. The neighbors who had bought adjacent property and build their new homes saw an opportunity to get rid of the eye soar they called Carols place. Now, Carol has been told by the courts to get rid of all the dogs. She can only have 3 dogs on her 4 1/2 acres of property while the breeders across the street have 17 and yet more breeders at the other end of the street have more! To explain this to you I simply say, the city is named Rainsville and the Judge in this matter is Judge Raines. Time Frame:- These dogs need out NOW! Carol LOST her second round of appeals. The official court order came down on these dogs back in late October. Thankfully, through the publicity of the mass movement and national support of the plight of Carols dogs, the city has given her a \"good ole boy handshake agreement\" to hold off on executing any of the dogs as long as the rescue effort continues. Unfortunately, this deal ends FEBRUARY 9th, 2009! We have 17 hard to place dogs to move in 6 weeks! This is where the truth comes out......who can take on a dog that is tough to place knowing you will have him/her for several months and will need to spend extra effort with him/her to get her placed? As soon as we get some of the dogs we have already taken placed in new homes, I will be taking some tough ones, please step up to the plate and take one too. If you have questions about individual dogs, feel free to email Morgan directly at forgottenpaws@yahoo.com. I have spent extensive time with these dogs doing temperament testing and assessments http://www.forgottenpaws.com/GreenAcres1-10.htmhttp://www.forgottenpaws.com/GreenAcres11-20.htm its NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interestsPostingID: 998223983 |

Well you just answered it. If they go for $125 in stores and from breeders then you are obviously selling the snake? Adoptions and good homes with smalls fees are the rules of craigslist not selling the animals which you are doing. A rehoming fee would be like maybe $40-50 not full price when I could go to a breeder and know that im getting a healthy animal. I have two bunnies who need (a) new home(s)I have a gray bunny, Abby. She is about 3+ years, but she is a love. She is super soft, and she loves to tuck her face in the crook of your bent arm.Tessa is the white bunny, with brown specks here and there. She is 1-2 years old. She is a little more feisty, but thats most likely because I havent been holding her as much as I should. She does scratch when she is out of the cage for too long, but she is sweet.I am trying to find new homes for my bunnies, because they arent getting the care they need with me. My parents have taken over caring for them, and they are not enjoying it. They are both smaller rabbits, and they are sweet. They are adorable, and I would love to see them go to a good home.I am asking for maybe $20 for one or $30 for both for their rehoming fee, considering how much we paid for them. Thanks, and dont be afraid to email me! ◄◄◄ CAT Behaviorist ◄◄◄ If you cat is exhibiting out–of-the ordinary behavior, you should first see your veterinarian. Once he has ruled out all medical problems, then the next best step is to seek out a professional Cat Behaviorist. My ten years’ experience in working with cats has demonstrated over and over again that a cats cancerous behavior can be completely turned around when an owner seeks help on the onset of the problem. We are all victims of poor behaviorisms from time to time; we know how difficult it is to turn our own behavior around. Well, it is just as difficult to try and change a cat’s behavior. If the behavior has been ignored for six months or longer, the chances are that it will take an immense amount of work (three to six months of time) on the owners part to turn him around. Cancerous cat behavior could lead to a heart-breaking event for you and your cat. Colleagues and family members can only help to a point. A professional is very cognizant of all cat behavioral issues/problems and has the knowledge and know how on how to stop the behavior before it becomes a horrific problem for everyone involved. Note that behavioral problems are likely to develop when a cat is completely stressed out by hundred of different situations. (i.e.; his territory has been invaded, as something as small as a litter box problem, adding a new baby to your household, moving his litter box, or possibly moving to a new home) It is important to recognize that stress levels in cats are as diversified as stress levels in a human being. It is equally important for you to remember that a cat’s whole life revolves around ‘his territory’. When his territory is disturbed, he may well act out in destructive ways, even against you, his owner. As a mom pays very close attention to any changes in her child’s behavior, she equally needs to be alert to any changes in her cat’s behavior. I can help the owner recognize the problem(s) and then implement effective cat modification tools that may help stop the problem. It is a joint effort by both parties: The Owner and The Cat. If you have taken the time and read this discourse, then more than likely you and your cat are having a problem right now. So..... reach out to a specialist NOW. Home Consultation $50. Email Consultation $35. Sharon 781-255-9888 Location: Norwoodits NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interestsPostingID: 998303674 |

First off CL rules state a \"small adoption fee\" there is no fine print it is right there next tp the pets link....asking 300 for a unaltered dog is rediculous, I would say a reasonable adoption fee would be $100...why you would ask for more, when YOU are the one trying to find YOUR pet a new home is beyond me. I would much rather and I figure most people wanting a new pet would rather spend the money on the pet after adoption. If you want to sell your pet put it in the news paper or in other clasifides but not on CL. If you dont want to be flagged by CL police as the other poster says, why not just fallow the rules??? Considering people on here are doing YOU the favor. If you need your pet gone by the weekend dont say you want 550, seriously if they wanted to spend that much they would go to a pet store, a rescue, or a breeder plain and simple. I have 3 female mice available for adoption (hopefully together) with a small fee for supplies.Gloria is black with whitish belly. She pretty much gets along with everyone.Layla is similar, but with a bit more white on her and some tan. Leila is always the dominant one around new mice.. takes her a while to warm up to other adults but does eventually, not so much with babies.Blondie is fawn with some white on her. Very sweet but can be shy with people. She is only 2 weeks old in the picture so she is not so tiny anymore.I havent decided yet if I will give up their 20 gal tank but I have everything else they need. We have a great family...three kids (5, 7, 9), a good house, I work from home so I have plenty of time for a dog, and a good size yard. We have been waiting for our kids to be old enough to get a dog, to be financially ready for one, and to have the time..and now we are ready. If you have a smallish dog (cocker spaniel or similar) that is 1-2 years old and is amazing with kids (that is our priority) please email me. We are willing to pay a reasonable rehoming fee if you require it. Thanks so much!!!! Adoption Fee Issue -- (Central Mass) |

300 is ridiculous???? For a pure bred dog that was bought for 750 - Neutered for 250 - 300 plus in vet bills... Instead of scouring Cl looking for people to harass - Plus hundreds in food/toys so for a 2000 investment it is crazy to try and get a little back and find the dog a good home at the same time.. From the boxer rescue website http://www.boxerrescue.com/nebr_application_instructions.htm - There is an adoption fee of $375. This donation helps to defer the cost of veterinary care that we give the dogs, such as neutering, vaccinations, and medical treatments as needed. For a dog they have no initial investment in... I am asking for 75 less than they are and I had vet care, vaccines, neutering as well as the intial price I paid - Sorry but that should be considered a small adoption fee... Wake Up... FREE DOGS (DON'T) |
DON'T |
|
2009-01-23 9:00PM |
|
FREE DOGS, ESPECIALLY THE BULLY BREEDS, ATTRACT THE WORST OF PSYCHOS ON THIS WEBSITE. ADVERTISE A SMALL FEE AND WAIVE IT FOR THE RIGHT FAMILY. I AM NOT SAYING FEES GUARANTEE A GOOD HOME, MERELY THAT THE NUTCASES DONT USUALLY BOTHER WITH ADOPTION FEES, ALTHOUGH THEY ARE WILLING TO PAY A SMALL ADOPTION FEE AND RESELL FOR MUCH HIGHER PRICE. And they LOVE a free pittie. They are used to fight or for bait dogs, or to make litter after litter of poor vulnerable pups, sold to the highest biddders and then only God knows what happens to them all. They also like a small breed dog b/c they are easy to resell b/c of the high demand for them. THE BOTTOM LINE IS A FREE DOG COULD BE, NOT ALWAYS, BUT LEAVES THE DOOR WIDE OPEN FOR A DEATH SENTENCE OR TORTURE OF A VULNERABLE ANIMAL WHO DEPENDS ON YOU, HIS HUMAN, TO FIND HIM A SAFE HOME IF YOU CANNOT PROVIDE ONE FOR THEM. These people are changing their email, phone #s etc. all the time and I am sure that they are no longer using their real names when trying to obtain or sell dogs. A while back, I was looking for a dog to add to my family and in the process, answered several posts here that advertised dogs for adoption. I recieved response emails, about 5 seperate dogs, in 5 seperate posts, from the same email address and the same person. That persons email was spiffyboi67@tmail.com, and they were signed \"Kelli\" and they also contained the full name, Kelli Altidor at the heading of the email. When she answered my emails about 3 of the 5 dogs, she stated that the adoption fee was \"$300.00\" and that someone was already scheduled to pick them up at 7:00 pm, but that if I had the money, and could get their earlier, she would give the dog to me. For the other 2, she stated the adoption fee which was also $300.00 and said that if I had the money, I couild have them. They also use mizzs917@tmail.com, and some virgo email posted here today. They will try to sell your dog by saying they need it rehomed for a fee asap or they will take it to a shelter hoping some soft hearted schmuck (like me) will rush and buy it before it goes to a shelter. They also go by Tina Bud, Jennifer Fredericks, but they are changing identity all the time. Wilberson Altidor is Kellis son. He trolls this website looking for dogs. Other known aliases are Jennifer Fredericks, Amanda Ruiz, Awilda, Daniella Knight, and Rose Bolila They deceived a lady into giving them her Boston Terrier before Xmas and then posted her for sale. Their story was the father in the family died recently of cancer and the son was in mourning and needed a dog for company. Luckily the lady saw her dog posted for sale and she was rescued. I am sickened by their cruelty. They were recently raided by the MSPCA AND A MIN PIN, A PITTIE AND A COUPLE OF CATS, BOTH ALIVE AND DEAD WERE TAKEN FROM THE RESIDENCE. If you come in contact with them for any reason, CALLT HE MSPCA IMMEDIATELY, THEY KNOW EXACTLY WHO THEY ARE AND WHAT THEY ARE DOING. DONT LET THEM KEEP THIS UP. THEY NEED TO KEEP BEING REPORTED. THEY ARE THE WORST OF THE WORST. Their latest email is jnffr172@gmail.com and reedpit@aol.com, billinarescue@yahoo.com, and aim: altidor14 Another scam they are using is pretending to be a deaf woman, and using a tty or relay system to communicate with people. She may say she just had a miscarriage and cant travel, but SHE is Wilberson Altidor. Please everyone, be very careful who you adopt your pets to, do a home visit, get vet references, and charge an adoption fee...which you can either donate or waive if you find the perfect home. These people dont seem to respond to adds asking for adoption fees, only those that are offered for free. They must be pretty good at fooling people if they have managed to attain this many animals, and have kept it up for this long. Either some people dont care where their pets are going, or these people are great actors. Either way, if you truly care about your pet, take your time and find out all you can about the adoptive family...dont just hand it to the first person that comes along that claims they \"love dogs\". A FAR BETTER SOLUTION For those of you that are running out of time finding your animal a home OR FOR ANYONE NEEDING TO REHOME THEIR, please take it to a shelter before you let it go to someone you do not have time to research a bit. There are also breed specific rescues for pure bred dogs who are willing to help. Any animal would be far better off in a rescue or a shelter, that in the hands of the Altidors or any other already identified dog dealers. Rescues will not put your dog down, they will foster until a safe and loving home can be found. Remember these people prey on your emotions, desperation, etc. They have been very effective at what they do and it is unconscionable. Here is a link to all different breed rescue organizatons http://www.geocities.com:80/Heartland/Prairie/9337/ne-rescu.html Beware of then and those like them. If you wont consider a rescue, dont just hand your dog over to anyone. Get a reference, character and vets, go to the home where your dog will live and find out who will care for it. Ask for identification to ensure they really live there. Dont be afraid to do your homework. Protect your dog. HELP KEEP THE PEACE BY KEEPING YOUR OUTDOOR DOG QUIETWhen a certain family living not far from me goes out of town for the weekend, all the neighbors know it. The reason? The familys lonely, frustrated outdoor dog barks until they come home. While other neighbors are likely wishing the dog ill in the wee hours of a Sunday morning, I always find myself feeling sorry for him. My less-than-charitable thoughts usually center around the people who are responsible for him -- or should be.Such people live in every neighborhood. Are you responsible for not keeping the peace in yours? The owners of problem barkers seem to develop an ability to ignore the noise that has their neighbors thinking of legal action -- or maybe murder. But a dog whos barking constantly isnt having any more fun than the neighbors are, and you owe it to both your pet and those who can hear him to fix this problem. The first step is to figure out why your dog is sounding off so much. Dogs bark to express a variety of emotions: anxiety, boredom, territoriality, aggression, playfulness, hunger. Certain conditions in a dogs environment can trigger these emotions -- and barking fits -- more frequently. The typical neighborhood nuisance is like the dog who lives near me: an outdoor dog who isnt getting the attention and exercise he needs. Dogs are social animals, and they need to be part of a family. If your dog is outside because of poor manners or because he isnt house-trained, give him another chance. Ask your veterinarian for a referral to a trainer or behaviorist, and arrange for an in-home consultation to fix the underlying problems.Once youve brought him into your life, keep him busy with regular outings. Exercise, both of the body and of the mind, works wonders for all dogs, especially those who bark from boredom or to release excess energy. Youll be amazed at how much calmer, happier -- and quieter -- your dog will be if you exercise him regularly. For indoor barking, teach your dog to be quiet by distracting him, saying the word \"Quiet\" or \"Enough,\" and then praising him for minding -- hell make the connection soon enough, with repetition and lots of praise. Rattling a can filled with pennies is a commonly recommended distraction, and it works well. Shouting at your dog does nothing except make you feel temporarily better.Work to minimize barking cues to keep your indoor dog quiet when youre not home. If your dog barks while looking through a window that faces the street, keep him out of that room while youre gone. Many dogs fire up when they hear car doors slam; other dogs bark at the mail carriers steps on the walk. Muffle these sounds by leaving a radio playing while youre not home, and your pet is more likely to sleep than bark. Giving your dog something special to chew on, such as a Kong toy or hollow bone stuffed with a little peanut butter, will help keep him occupied and quiet while hes awake. For the most persistent barkers, consider an anti-bark collar that works with smell, not shock. These battery-operated collars, which are available online or in catalogs, release a spray of citronella mist each time a dog barks. The mist is harmless to the dog -- the citrus tang smells good to humans, but dogs hate it. The hiss of the mist releasing from the canister and the smell itself are annoying enough to distract the dog and correct him for barking. Surgical debarking is another option, but I dont recommend it unless the barking is putting the dogs life at risk and all other avenues have been tried.Chances are, though, that if you bring your dog into your home and train him, youll not even need to consider an anti-bark collar or surgery. Your dog will be happier, and so will your neighbors. its NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interestsPostingID: 1005503296 |

FYI you CANNOT rehome a pet until its 8 weeks (MA) |
MA |

whoever is saying its the law in NH and not in MA is obviously not a responsible pet owner. It doesnt need to be a law, the simple fact is before 8 weeks it is too young to be taken way from its mother. Spychologically the pet may have serperation anxiety, and most of all they need their mothers milk and every day counts. And before you go ff on me I have 14 years as a vet tech, I know what I am talking about. We are in no rush to rehome our puppies. We can temporarily re-home them at my moms until we find a really great home. We do not, and I mean do not want to give them away. We are getting kicked out of our current place.Under our circumstances, we have to try to rehome them.I can not separate the two. I know that it will be hard to find a home that will accept two large breeds, but they have never been separated... so I just cant. Please email me for more info. They have papers, kennel, toys, etc. There will be a rehoming fee. its NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interestsPostingID: 1005559899 |

Unfortunately, because it is not the law in MA people do it. I recently bought a puppy at 4 1/2 weeks. I was not going to do it,but someone els would have. So I took the puppy and I am working very hard with him. If anyone wants to say it is okay, send them my way. Ill tell them why its not. I know its not the law because I tried turning them in. Was told its not right but its not illegal in MA. It should be! Location: everywhereits NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interestsPostingID: 1005569240 |
Do something to FEED a HUNGRY ANIMAL. (pic)

I signed the petition \"Economic Crisis Leaves Pets Hungry Too\". Im asking you to sign this petition to help us reach our goal of 10,000 signatures. I care deeply about this cause, and I hope you will support our efforts.Click here to help now!Economic Crisis Leaves Pets Hungry TooTarget: U.S. CongressDuring the global economic crisis people are sacrificing a lot but they are not the only ones. Household pets, often considered to be a part of the family, are affected by financial hardship as well. Owners of dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, chickens and even iguanas are finding it increasingly difficult to feed and care for their additional family members. The health and safety of pets depend on loving care which sometimes has substantial costs. Pet food and regular veterinary care are necessities for companion animals, but the costs add up quickly. One such animal suffering due to the financial meltdown is horses, majestic yet expensive animals. Hay and feed prices have escalated while owner incomes remain fixed or are declining. But there is a glimmer of hope. Some area food pantries are recognizing the desperate need for animal care, and are distributing pet food along with their grocery donations. Tell Congress that our families including our pets need help accessing food during the economic crisis. its NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interestsPostingID: 1005578896 No contact info? if the poster didnt include a phone number, email, or other contact info, craigslist can notify them via email. |

So your small dog (up to 25lbs)can see out of the passenger side window. Has pockets & zippers for stuff and an attachment for your dogs collar (so he/she wont jump out). My yorkie never got used to cars so its wasted on him. I bought it for $60 and its just like brand new. If I still had the bag it came in I would return it - but I dont. I can show you how to attach it to the passenger seat. Its really simple. Adopting before 8 weeks is wrong (NH is right!) |
NH is right! |
|
2009-01-24 10:23AM |
|
I think its a great thing that in NH you cannot adopt a pet before its 8 weeks old... not \"shitty\" as one poster wrote... you also have to have a health cert from a vet... this applies to everyone selling an animal... not just pet shops and brokers, like in MA... I know this because I got a kitten from a private family in NH and I recieved the health cert with my kitten...the only one who would have a problem with keeping a baby until its 8 weeks old is a \"shitty\" BYB who is just out for a quick buck... Hi, I purchased two female Guppies and one male Guppy fish a few months back... Knowing that they were livebearing fish meaning like us they have babies know as fry. Well unlike us they produce a lot of fry anywhere from 4-60+ at a time.... My females were pregnant at time of purchase, and they are known to store sperm for about 4 weeks meaning they can keep getting pregnant for at least for more weeks without a male in their tank, although I do have a male and actually a few more now since our first group of fry, we are now on group three and have over 60 fish at least, there are just to many to count and they are extremely small and fast, they are fine for now due to their size but in a few weeks our tank wont be big enough, we are looking for people to take some guppies off of our hands, Looking for first time pet owners (childs first pet) or for fish fanatics, THESE ARE NOT FEEDER FISH AND THEREFORE WE ARENT LOOKING TO GET RID OF THEM FOR AT LEAST TWO MORE WEEKS so that they are big enough that another fish wont think that it is food... if interested please contact me... GuppiesThey are very beautiful tropical fish, they eat Guppy food and the regular tropical fish flakes that enhances their colors. they must live in a tank that is set up for tropical fish, FRESHWATER ONLY, the water must be kept at a tempurature of 72 - 80 degrees, Therefore you must have a heater, and filter. If interested let us know wed be happy to get some of them off of our hands thanks again....I have added a few photos of my tank, as you can see there are a lot of fish in there... like approx. 82 maybe more. Anyways if you are looking to breed some guppies or want them for show because they are so beautiful... just let me know... thanks Location: Peabodyits NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interestsPostingID: 1005362816 |

two awesome kitties need a new home (loving home) (pic)

loving home |
|
2009-01-24 12:27AM |

i can no longer care for my two amazing kitties and am heart broken to need to find them new homes. my current situation is that i have been unemployed for over a year and i am now on disability. i love my kitties dearly and i have done everything possible to be able to keep them but i am finally at the point where it would be better to find them a good home and be heartbroken than to keep shuttling them around from place to place. at this point i just dont have the means to care for them--its now down to \"be homeless\" or \"keep the cats\". i dont have enough money to get an apartment so i had to move into my parents (they wont let me have them here for more than a few more days because my 3 yr old nephew is allergic and cant visit. its the pets or the nephew and they obviously choose the nephew). additionally, my mom had her lung removed this summer due to lung cancer and she may have developed an allergy to pet dander so her health is a concern as well.anyway, the short of it is that i am looking for good homes for the kitties with a responsible owner/owners who will love and care for them. they have mostly been together since i got them 5.5 years ago but would do well as only cats if they have an affectionate owner. they are up to date on shots and are fixed and in good health. they are shelter kitties so im not 100% sure on ages but they are estimated about 6.5. Gilmore is an expert mouser and will clear mice and chipmunks out of the neighborhood if given the opportunity. Lucy is a good mouser but is not much of a hunter. both have been indoor and indoor/outdoor cats and are fine either way. lucy loves to be a lap cat and gilmore is affectionate but would rather play than sit in your lap.gilmore is good with kids. lucy is a little more shy but warms up after a while. both have lived with dogs so they are generally okay with smaller dogs or dogs that wont chase them.gilmore is a black and white tuxedo cat and lucy is a fluffy blondie.if you are interested in adopting one or both kitties and giving them a loving home, please contact me. email if you have any questions.thanks!
