He is a pit/boxer mix (like an 85/15 mix), just over a year old, named Bruno, housebroken, knows all the basic commands (sit, lay down, stay, paw, roll over), he is neutered and up to date on all shots. Hes extremely loving, loves to lick and play, has a lot of energy. Hes never bitten anyone, and you can tell from his temperament that its not really in his nature to be aggressive/vicious. He loves to run, loves to play fetch (even though his idea of bringing the ball back is running around you with it and not giving it back up), hes just a really fun dog.Ive had him since he was 7 weeks old, he really is a great dog, and its unfortunate that my living situation forces me to give him up. I had to move back in with my parents while im finishing up school, and with classes and work and being back at home with parents that arent dog people, hes just not getting the attention and space that he really needs. I play with him on a daily basis, but while im gone hes either kept in the basement in his crate or shut in my room, without interaction with people or other pets, and i know that its not fair to him, he deserves and needs better than what i can give him now.He gets along great with other pets, likes to chase cats (mainly because they always run away from him so he still wants to know what one is!), and plays with other dogs, maybe a little rougher than most, but he is a pit after all. Even still, hes never bitten or gotten aggressive while playing with other dogs, he is EXTREMELY good-natured.I am absolutely adamant about finding him a good home and under NO circumstances will I allow him to be turned into a fighting dog or anything of that nature. If you are truly interested, I feel very strongly about bringing him to the place he would be living to make sure that there is enough space and it is a good fit for him.Im asking a $150 adoption fee, namely to cover costs of shots, neutering, and everything that would go with him (crate, food, dishes, toys, leashes, runner, dog house if interested, etc).The situation Im in is extremely unfortunate, and its the last thing I want to do, but I know it is best for him, so lets find him a great home! We have two adorable cockatiels to a good home! One is around 1 and a half years old, the other is older (not sure, maybe a few years old, weve had him at least 2 years and we adopted him from a friend who had him for a couple as well). Have to find home for two cocker spaniels. Sunshine the buff cocker is 1 yr old dob 10-15-07. Boston is a black and white cocker spaniel with one blue eye and one brown eye dob 12-30-08.
