Hello! Im a 31 year- old straight female looking to move to the Boston area by Sept. 1st, hopefully mid August. I am looking for something like a 3rd floor of a multi- family house, maybe like a renovated attic that now has a bedroom and a full bath, or at least a shower. I wouldnt mind sharing that floor with someone else, especially if there is a living room or place for a tv (to watch the Red Sox !) in that common area. Im funny, very down to earth, diehard Red Sox fan, (not a pink hat), and easy going. I dont watch much tv, but I do love to read and love country music. Im pretty easy to please; I dont need stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, just something clean and a bit modern to cook on, or whatever.I have a friend who pays $400 a month for this type of set up and I think her utilities are another $100 (shared) on top of that. Id like something within the same budget, and preferably within walking distance to the T, not a bus to take me there. Im going to be working in Dorchester, so I really dont want an hour commute every morning, please, haha. Due to the nature and locations of our jobs, our top objective is to find a place within 5 minutes of the Davis Square T. While I know that there are many fabulous areas of Boston, we are only interested in looking at apartments in Davis Square.We are able to pay up to $2400 for a 4-bedroom or $1800 for a 3-bedroom (or $2600/$1950 if utilities are included). We are not in need of any fancy amenities or parking places. Hello, I work in mutual funds by day (9-5) and try to keep busy with music at night. I am 32/m straight, responisble, laid back, respectful and easy going. I like to keep the common areas clean, on time paying bills, and practice alot musicwise. I am not loud and can use headphones if necessary, and play at rehearsal spaces for the most part. If you also play music and have musical home then all the better. I watch TV minimally, but usually watch the Daily, show, Colbert, South Park, C-Span, Curb your enthusiam, etc..or sometimes even an HBO series. I am a smoker, but will not smoke in the apartment unless it is okay with roommate...but generally prefer not to stink up the place either! 420 friendly, and drink occasionally, I do not judge, just letting you know about me! I do have a car, and been doing fine with resident parking.
