 Original Vintage 1966 100W JTM45 These amps are scarce This one is unmodified with all original parts with the exception of the power and standby switch and the bias caps Because this amp is one of the best sounding on the planet it has been used and the caps are still perfect NO NOISE The amps that sit unused are the ones that have dry noisy caps For the last 10 years of its life this amp was used in a smoke free studio so all the wear on the bottom of the cab is from ages past Here are some of key features of this legendary Marshall 1 Large Lay down mains transformer 2 Vintage XF2 EL34s with lots of life Fresh bias adjust and bias caps for safe running 3 All original mullard mustard signal caps date early to mid 1966 4 1960s vintage Telefunken ECC83 Made In Germany 5 All Aluminum chassis and aluminum block ends6 Autographed in 1999 by Jim Marshall 7 Original silver on white logo worn but still in very good shape these almost never have the original logo 8 100 stock filter caps and resistors Cant be found anymore This one is like the Van Halen amp with the caps on the board instead of the outside of the chassis 9 As was mentioned above there is no noise and the amp sounds like many recordings10 All original knobs etc Brief note on the serial number In the middle of 1966 Marshall changed from a 4 digit serial number to a 5 digit serial number They began at 10001 and by the 13th week of 1967 they were at 19370 This amp is a very early plexi considered to be 29 10029 Dating the Super Bass Well known Marshall dealer and avid collector Norm Moren stated that this amp was from mid 1966 and the mustard cap dates agree D6N for 1966 It was also stated that Marshall most likely first began using the gold back panel on the Super Bass since nobody has ever seen a 1966 white back panel Super Bass If you are the first please let us know Tone Differneces from Super Lead to Super Bass There are two differences between the Super Bass and Super Lead The first was the 100pf cap on the volume pot to brighten the tone which this amp does not need and the second is the higher output power tranny on the Super Lead which often yielded 550DC plate volts The early Super Bass has 480VDC on the plates so the tubes last longer and it is a useable loud that really seems to get the most tone out of the EL34 Those in the know prefer slightly lower plate volts to ease the ear pain and cost of replacing burnt Mullard EL34s Note on the Tubes I was a tube dealer for years so I saved only the best for the gem of my studio This set of Mullard EL34s are true XF2 All four are dark brown base and labeled RCA but are true welded plate Mullard EL34 matched within 3 ma Two tubes are single getter and two are double getter The preamp tubes are NOS lt gt Telefunken all from the same batch with matching codes Technical note on Proper Voltage In the studio the power was kept at 115v AC giving 6 3vac on the tube heaters to optimize tone and tube life Keeping the bias at 28 to 30ma and the mains voltage at a safe level actually raises the preamp voltage to the optimum level for the best tone possible A higher bias than necessary will lower the preamp plate voltage as the power tubes draw the power tranny down resulting in lower preamp plate volts and a mushy tone A Higher mains voltage such as 125vAC will result in filter cap failure and tube cathode stripping due to high heater voltage So a variac will produce the best tone and reliability if used properly Bias Tuning With the the power tube bias current is set safely at 28ma the preamp plate voltage is between 325 and 355VDC yielding a clear touch sensitive tone Proper tuning is made after setting the wall voltage with a variac to yield 6 3vac 115VAC on the heaters and then by adjusting the bias voltage with a resistor change The resistor used was a 1960s 10 tolerance 62k carbon comp resistor as used by Marshall in 1966 this resistor is not considered a tone circuit resistor but must be changed when tubes are replaced The original 52k bias resistor will be included This is considered maintenance when output tubes are replaced NOT modification Bias Caps The original blue Hunts bias caps will be included in the auction but they are NOT stable The replacements were the exact value at 8uf X 150VDC and are high quality Sprague Atom Dropping Resistors Lastly the power tube Dropping resistors were replaced with top quality DALE 5 RS2B These resistors go accross the plates and are completely stock in value These resistors eventually fail when a 100W amp is used frequently causing serious damage to the amp The original RS Dropping resistors will be included and are functional but for safe reliable running the RS2B are best Note on Tone Circuit All tone resistors and tone caps are 100 stock unmodified Phier carbon film and Mullard Mustard caps The red silver mica caps are also 100 stock and untouched THIS AMP ROCKS

 Selling my memorymoog plus with midi dont want to but I have to Its in great shape a bit of damage to the left wood side panel and the two frequency knobs have been replaced It needs to be calibrated as it hasnt been used much in the last couple of years theres a couple of local guys that can do that for you Ive pasted a review and some specs below The MemoryMoog is without a shadow of doubt the most gutsy powerful Polysynth ever Three VCOs with Mixable waveforms dual concentric vernieresque tuning pots feeding true DISCRETE Moog Ladder filters into overdrive and beyond ultra fast envelope generators ADSR not ADS as on the Mini Prophet 5 style Polymod section with numerous routings Alpha numeric readout that gives the controls old and new values side by side when editing existing patches so they can be returned Memorizer that holds 100 patches driven by a 0 9 a d keypad with a massive LED patch number readout above loads of interfacing including the ability to drive a Monosynth from the highest note played from either CV Gate or CV S Trig the Plus model has a 4000 note step realtime sequencer with editing accurate Tempo readout external clock storage of six sequences including one for the external Monosynth Sequence merging and a Security passcode to stop anyone from overwriting your presets and a simple 3 port MIDI interface that only responds to note on note off and Patch change info The Polymod section is enhanced by dropping the third VCO into LFO mode with loadsa destinations leaving enough VCO Power to spare The MM s Mixer includes a Pink noise generator and the filter kbd tracking is the same as the Mini OFF 1 3 2 3 FULL various ENV modes are also included such as return to Zero and Conditional contour that makes the EG finish its Attack Release cycle if you just touch a key The Unison mode is programmable for each patch choose the number of voice cards from 1 like a Minimoog just 3 VCOs to 6 all 18 for real mayhem and the type of keying Last Hi Lo note priority multiple single triggering the Poly mode has different trigger modes too such as Cyclic like an OB Xa Polysix etc and a mode like the Prophet where the same repeated note uses the same voice card The arpeggiator all MMs has also 6 modes of operation SO Apart from not having separate clocks for th e PWM Arpeggiator and LFO duties also Sequencer on the plus the MemoryMoog is stuffed with functionality too shame the thing didn t have a multimode filter but if it did there d be no excuse for keeping the Jupiter 6

 This is an incredibly beautiful one of a kind 7 piece drum kit Not only was this very drum set used by Journeys current drummer DEEN CASTRONOVO Of course I dont really want to get rid of this kit but I have no other choice right now Ive been very blessed just to say I got to play on such a nice drum set Useage This kit was only taken on three gigs total and every gig I only used two toms and one of the two kicks Im obviously willing to sell this to anyone but Id feel better knowing that I made a very big Journey fan happy cheesy but true Please email me for additional questions Once again this is an incredibly unique beautiful sounding kit that should not be passed up and isnt hard to look at The one downfall if you even look at it as one is that there are a few very small dings on the drums from atleast a full year of touring WITH JOURNEY overall you can barely notice the marks So you will want to buy some good cases to protect the amazing laquer job Includes Sizes 10 12 14 inch rack toms 16 18 inch floor toms two gigantic 18x24 inch kick drums Color Magenta Pink Maroon Fade and Wood Maple drums with Laquered Ice Birch finish The drums were made in July of 2000 Four of the toms have brand new coated remo ambassador heads on them Im also considering including some stands if needed
