 About two weeks ago I was in the Forest Avenue side of Clove Lake park and an adorable female Jack Russell Terrier ran up to me She had a leash and a collar on but the tags had been obviously removed I stayed at the park for an hour and notified a park ranger who drove around to find a possible owner but none could be found I took her home and called the ASPCA immediately to report her found but no one has called looking for her Ive also checked the paper every day nothing Therefore I can only conclude that she was abandoned I cant understand why She is friendly and very trainable When I first found her she had no concept of sit and would grab for food but in less than a day I taught her sit and easy I also began training her to walk properly on a leash She is very comfortable both indoors and out She seems to be house trained I dont know if she has any shots but I do know she is not spayed she was in heat when I found her Ive had her at my house for the time being but its been really difficult since I already have three dogs of my own I just want her to have a good home I live on Staten Island Ive included a picture of her Please contact me if you are interested
