This is a stock silencer off a 95 CR250. I beleive it will fit 92-96 CR 250s but do your homework to make sure it fits your machine.The baffle tube broke off at the base of the stinger while pulling it out to repack it. You can either buy it just for the outside canister, have it welded back on, or use as is as I did for a while.Please call 859-6719 with any questions. 1975 CB750 Supersport. In good shape and runs great. Redone the rear section of the bike cause it wasnt original when I bought it. Has stacks on the carbs and TT drag pipes. Installed new points this winter. Averages 45 to 49 mpg all last summer from ogden to slc. Never had a problem with it all last year. Has ape hanger handle bars, passed safety last year with them on so there not real tall. Have original brake and clutch cables if wanted. Also have gasket set for the motor if wanted. Very clean in excellent shape bike for sale. I dont have time to ride it. Bought it last year and had fork seals changed and timing chain adjusted. First owner used it for commuting and put on 11,000 miles but its still in great shape. Its never been wrecked and I probably only put on 500 miles. Changed the oil last year and hardly rode it. I just completed rebuilding the engine including new bearings, seals, pistons, rings, all valves and more. I have flushed all of the fluids, cleaned the carbs, and new spark plugs. The shocks have completely just been rebuilt, and it has brand new tires front and rear, battery and more. The blue book value is $3450 and Im selling it for $2900 despite its excellent mechanical condition. The paint has faded in places and it has been tipped over. Ok, the last guy who made an offer isnt ready to buy yet so Im lowering my price and re-listing...In other words, time is of the essence.Just bought a 929RR so Im selling my old CBR, has 600cc inline four, 6spd and 36k. Bike is ready to go. It has been rewired recently and everything works except the temp guage which comes on when it feels like it. Bike is reliable, I take it to work every day and occasonally out of town or into the mountains. Plastics are ugly, the guy who had it before me laid it down then painted it black, I didnt like it so I took the side fairings off, i have them they just arent on the bike. Looks fine now, a good 10 footer! Has a supertrapp exhaust which is great at mid to high rpm but coughs and sputters sometimes at low rpm, or maybe it just needs a tune, (at least that is what I think it is). Could use new front pads, has new rear pads. Bottom line: its not very pretty but its a tank, starts every morning and goes everywhere I want it to go, quickly. Would make an excellent first bike or cheap commuter. I need it gone so make me an offer. Leave a message or text if I dont pick up435-215-3334. This bike runs great. It never has a problem starting, even when its cold. I only started it every two or three weeks this last winter, and it was just fine every time. These twisted twin engines are known for being bullet proof. The silverwing is considered touring bike. Its made to go places. It will need some love and such as it is a 30 year old bike, but is should keep running for a couple of more decades. It gets an average of 45 mpg, with at least 50 mpg highway. Ive never used an entire tank up on the freeway, so it probably gets even better than that. The luggage holds a lot. I can put 4 cases of Coke in that bike with a bit of rearranging.If you need a two-up bike, you can get a backseat for the silverwing off ebay for a pretty reasonable price. It takes about thirty seconds to pop the trunk off, and the seat will go on just as easily.It has about 30000 miles on it. The odometer was changed out last year when some hoodlum shot at it with a bb gun. It reads around 6000 lower than the actual miles on the bike. The trip meter doesnt work on this one. If it bothers you, new ones are pretty cheap at Bills Boneyard.Cosmetically, its well... challenged. It is, after all, blue. Some of the plastics are cracked. All serviceable, just not perfect. At one time I was going to restore it, but got sidetracked. Theres this brilliant plastic repair kit you can buy at Walmart for pretty cheap. Some of that and a paint job will get you a decent looking bike.The wiring has a couple of things... when you flip on the high beams, your tail light goes off. Ive looked at the wiring harness, and I dont think it would be that difficult a fix for someone who knows wiring basics. I dont. And the kill switch doesnt kill the bike... it kills the headlight. I think that was to conserve power for the accessories that were, at one time, mounted in the fairing. And if you were to remount some stuff in there, power conservation would already be taken care of!Work done recently...- New thermostat (9 months)- Tires (1 year)- Rear brakes (2 months)- Carbs (1 year)- Heads (1 year)- Speedometer cable (9 months)- Battery (1 year)- Seat recovered (1 year)- Windshield (1 year)Work that should be done..- Oil change (Cuz its spring and thats just what you do. Ill even change it for you if you buy the supplies...)- Fork rebuild- Front brake light switch- New gas tank cap gasket... only an issue when youve just filled the thing and some @!#& driver cuts you off.Stuff included...- Fork seals- Extra speedo cable.- Shop manual- New rubber for the kickstand.- Whatever else is in my Silverwing project bag.You can call, but email and text are really the way to go, as I work really random hours.Pam801...787...8487Or reply to the craigslist email. I just finished rebuilding the carburetor, gave it an electrical tune-up, changed the oil, cleaned out both gas tanks with acid, re-upholstered the seats and gave it a new battery. It drives very smooth and its acceleration is similar to that of my Seca (which is a Bullet Bike). Awesome combination of economy and style. 1972 Honda CB500 project bike. Bike appears to be very complete, no known missing parts. Brand new mufflers (4 new in box, unopened), two keys, clean title, tires appear pretty good, holding air. Both side covers are present, one has some cracks, but appears repairable. Seat appears decent, no tears, pan is rusty but may be able to be cleaned up. Tank is rusty inside. Bike has ape hanger bars on it and two mirrors, will include some stock CB550 bars if you want them. Choke on the carbs is a manual thumb switch. No battery. Bike has not run for a while, but is not in bad shape. Bike will definitely need some TLC to get back on the road, but is complete and has a clean title. Its not beautiful, but the price is right. I built this workbench out of 2x4s and extra engineered \"hardwood\" flooring because I had it laying around and I couldnt afford to buy a real motorcycle lift. I used it with a motorcycle ramp and it worked great. Gets a bike about 20\" off the ground so you dont have to break your back bending over or laying on the ground for everything you need to do on your bike. Includes \"shelves\" connected to the legs so you can put sandbags or whatever down there (I used buckets of sandblast abrasive) to keep it from being too top-heavy when you have a bike on top. In the months that Ive used it Ive never once felt that it was unstable, even with a big, heavy bike on top. I assembled it with wood glue, 2.5\" 16 gauge nails, and pipe clamps to hold it all together while the glue dried. The 2x4s (you know, the ones they use to make homes) will come apart before the joints separate. Its about 8 long, so youll want a full size truck to take it home. I can deliver in a Suburban for about $20 in lower Davis County, negotiable elsewhere. First $50 gets it. This is my brothers 1984 Honda Shadow VT700C. Im selling it because he is out of the country and needs the money where he is (Japan) to buy another bike. He bought this one a year ago (before we both got laid off from the same company and plans changed) for $2500 and has since put almost $1000 into it which you basically get for free: * New carburetor diaphragms (the originals turned out to be torn in multiple places) - $225 from Plaza Cycle* New, aftermarket saddlebags from Wrights - $200* New brake pads from Wrights - $50* Newly rebuilt brake calipers - $45* New stator - $150* New fuses, inline fuse holders, etc - $50* New, aftermarket highway bars - $100* New, aftermarket handlebars - $80The first generation Shadows have the highest power-to-weight ratio of any production Honda cruiser EVER. Thats right: more power out of the engine and on the pavement, and it weighs way less than the more recent models. It will smoke any Shadow or VTX and even the smaller displacement sport bikes. Its a blast to ride (thats why weve owned 3 of them). It will pull 120 mph on a straight, flat stretch. Ask me how I know. Other than the handlebars and the highway pegs its all stock, including the original paint and decals. Obviously a 25 year old paint job isnt going to be perfect, and this one does have a few small nicks and superficial scratches, but it easily passes the 10 Foot Test. Still needs a new rear tire. Id recommend Wrights for just about anything you need, and their tire guys are great and fast. I have another of these Shadows and I paid $150 for a complete set, out the door. The front tire has a slow leak, but it takes almost a week to leak out enough to be unsafe and I havent been able to locate the leak. Could be the valve stem or the bead. Id recommend having it checked out when you do the rear tire just so you dont have to put up with the leak. There is a small tear on the top corner of the rear seat that has been sealed so it wont tear any further. Ive been meaning to hit it up with some vinyl/leather touchup spray paint but havent been able to make time for it yet. Ill include whats left of my can of that stuff (maybe 1/2 can) with the sale so you can get it done because Im out of time. You see, Im moving out of state as well, so we need to wrap this up quickly or the bike will go in a storage shed for years until my brother moves home. Nobody wants this bike to rot in a dusty storage shed so show a Honda some love and come take a test drive. Must have motorcycle endorsement and proper safety gear to ride. I will be making a copy of your ID before you ride. (If youve been watching the news you know there has been a series of bike thefts recently.) No ID, no ride. Would most prefer a local sale, but I will be driving through the Midwest to our new home in South Carolina. I could deliver along I-70 for a rate to be negotiated. This only has 6K original miles on it, original seat is in awesome shape, Chrome is gorgeous, and it even has the original side covers that are usually broken or lost. These bikes will top out at 85mph, it is a twin cylinder, twin carbed 4stroke engine, and it has the rare scrambler pipes with beautiful chrome heat shields. This bike runs really good, with great acceleration. It has 5 speeds so you can easily cruise at 65+ if you wish. EVERYTHING works on this bike, blinkers, hi/lo stop/break, including the front brake will accuate the brake light...its usually broken. The lights in the tach and speedo even work, including the hi/lo indicator on top of the headlight, and the blinker reminder light in the speedo. This bike is a must see. The bike has a brand new battery, rebuilt carbs, new brake assembly up front, stops like a disk, tires are good, this is a turn key, runner. You will be hard pressed to find a cleaner CB175.
