Because the bedroom is in a more separated part of the house. You would have your own private entrance.This basement bedroom is pretty nice. It measures 10.5 x 19. The bedroom is furnished with a nice queen sized bed, nice desk, nice dresser, phone jack , keys to your room etc.. There is a larger window allowing natural light to enter. The bedroom has very attractive pine wood work all over. Directly outside the bedroom there is a smaller front room. ( About 12 x 12 ). In the front room there is a newer 10 cubic foot refrigerator , 1000 watt microwave oven and a toaster. Sorry there is no stove/range for you to use in this house. Stove fires are a leading cause of residential fires. This smaller front room also has nice pine wood work all over.Microwave ovens are great! They have come along ways in recent years. I am always preparing fresh salmon and farmed trout in my microwave oven up stairs. Microwave ovens are the best way to cook frozen vegetables and every body knows it. I have gobs of Pyrex dishes ect.. you can use. Microwaves are also better on the environment. Because they use electricity more efficiently.Off to the side would be your own personal bathroom. Further back in the basement would be your own personal laundry room. With a full size washer and a mini dryer. The bathroom has kind of a \"utility feel\". It is not as fancy as the bedroom and smaller front room.This is not an apartment. I feel more comfortable describing this as a \"Deluxe Basement Sleeping Room\". For one person only. Thats different, go for it!Directly outside the basement is a covered patio and fenced in yard area. This would primarily be your area. It would be perfect for mans best friend. Because there is a nice insulated dog house right there. I would even give you the green light to have a goat or chicken if you were a responsible person. A larger animal like a cow or horse would not be workable.Cat?I have had reasonably good luck with woman cat owners in this house. As long as they have just one cat. I have noticed for a while now that woman cat owners tend to stay a little longer term. When a woman cat owner calls me. My antennas kind of go up. I have a real nice cat condo ( tree ) stored away. You can use it if you want.If you are a 100% bus person. You know how heavy cat litter can be on the bus. I am the type of guy that would go to the store and pick some thing like that up for you.
